Bowen revealed the exciting news in an Instagram video of himself dressed as the main character.
According to the caption, he is set to perform for a “limited” 12-week run beginning on September 15.
How exciting!!!
Bowen spoke out about his new career move in an interview with Vulture and made it clear that he’s up for the challenge to play Mary:
“I’m not afraid to be masculine in this Mary. Mary having a complete delusion about her skills versus how other people perceive her feels very male to me, in a way that I relate with.”
Congratulations to Bowen on this amazing new gig! And break a leg, as they say in the theater world!
