Boy Scouts SHUT DOWN The Amazing Troop That Stuck By Their Gay Scoutmaster!

Wow.
Punishing children for doing the right thing?
What the EFF are the Boy Scouts of America doing?!?!
When the charter troop in Rainier Beach United Methodist Church in Seattle of Washington decided to take a stand and support their fired-for-being-gay scoutmaster Geoffrey McGrath after his release in March, you’d think the BSA might take note of this troop’s admirable qualities of sticking together.
Nope!
They revoked the whole troop’s charter, and basically kicked them out of the Boy Scouts until they comply with their dumb rules!
Well, the troop’s church’s reverend Monica Corsaro is going to keep holding those Boy Scouts meetings — no matter what the BSA says!
Here’s what the church’s reverend said:

“Based on our religious principles, we will continue to act as an autonomous church that does not discriminate. We will continue to have our troop meetings here, every Thursday night, with business as usual.”

And you know what? The BSA actually had the audacity to respond with this:

“We are saddened by this development, but remain committed to providing all youth with the best possible scouting experience where the scouting program is the main focus.”

Wow!
We can’t even wrap our heads around this — had the scoutmastser been reprimanded or doing an awful job, we’d understand.
He didn’t do anything wrong, especially in his scouts’ eyes! Hopefully they continue on their path of growing into good people, even without an official organization standing behind them!
Who knows? Maybe their unofficial meetings will prove to be much better anyway!
What a bunch of bullshizz!
