Thanks again, Brad Pitt and George Clooney!
Last week’s Nic Cage-driven weekend was a Hollywood disaster — it was the lowest earning in five years.
With Brad and George in Burn After Reading leading the charge, the Hollywood box office raked in $105 million, 34% ahead of last year’s $78 million.
Hollywoodland must also tip its hat to Tyler Perry once again. The man is a box office wonder!
His new movie, The Family that Preys, wasn’t far from the top box office spot and was a better ‘per screen’ earner than the George and Brad flick ($8,705 vs $7,319).
