Let’s all calm down about the biggest feud in Hollywood!
Sure, a couple sketchy interviews might make it seem like Brad Pitt hated being married to Jennifer Aniston, but we’ve all got it completely wrong.
You see, it was him, NOT her! (Yeah, we’ve heard that line before!)
After raising eyebrows with his Esquire interview where he revealed he was drugged out and wasting his life while with Jen, one lady who’s been in his life longer than Jen and Angelina Jolie has got his back.
His makeup artist and friend since 1990, Jean Black, revealed that the split had nothing to do with Jen not being good for him. She said:
“I think Brad was ready to soar when he met Angie. This is not to say anything negative about Jennifer. I was part of that and I know that he and Jennifer are very good friends and he cared deeply for her … But in Angie he saw a very adventurous person who was grabbing on to life and taking it to its [highest] degree. It was intriguing because I felt Brad had that in him and wanted to unleash it.”
Oh, okay, we see!
Welllll, not totally. Isn’t it still kind of a diss to say he couldn’t soar with Jen?
But we’ll let it go. After all, Jen is no longer the sad, single lady who got dumped for the hottie Oscar winner.
