Bradley Cooper Once Lost A Role Early In His Career Because He Wasn't 'F**kable'!

Poor Bradley Cooper!
While the leading man and star of the forthcoming film A Star Is Born may be a HUGE big screen draw nowadays, things weren’t exactly the same early in his career in the movie biz!

Speaking to W Magazine in a new interview about A Star Is Born, his work with Lady GaGa, and much more, Cooper revealed an interesting tidbit about a time early in his career when HE was deemed not sexy enough for a role!!
Wait, what?! This leading man — not sexy enough? Yep! Cooper told the mag (below):

“I’ve always been an underdog. I was always operating under the lens of not really being seen as the ‘main guy.’ I’ve heard it all my career. Early on, I didn’t get a role because they said I wasn’t ‘f**kable.’ In the end, you have to reserve your attention for the work and not listen to anyone.”

Wow!
And amen to that last sentence — very true!!!
Isn’t that surprising, though?! Not that Cooper is Hollywood’s biggest sex symbol or anything… but he’s pretty easy on the eyes, y’all!!!

Regardless, he sure seems to have found a home in the film industry now, and he may have another hit on his hands with A Star Is Born.
He reflected on that, and how far he’s come in his career, too (below):

“People I care about, who care about me, told me not to direct [the movie], said that it would be too difficult and I should start with something easier. Luckily, I didn’t listen. I loved that it was really, really hard to make this film. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have the same value … I was the one asking questions all the time. The thrill for me has never been in just acting. That’s always been my goal: to make something, no matter how challenging, that will be remembered.”

Nice!!
