Brantley Gilbert‘s Off The Rails Tour really is living up to its name!
On Friday, the country singer was in the middle of his show in Tupelo, Mississippi when he got some unexpected news about his expecting wife. One moment he was playing one of his hit songs for an arena full of fans — the next, he’s running back to his tour bus because his pregnant wife, Amber Cochran Gilbert, had gone into labor!

A video shared to the singer’s Instagram explained the situation to fans:
“Shortly after Brantley’s set starts, he gets pulled away for an emergency backstage.”
The video then cuts to the musician on the phone with his mom, where he tells her:
“… you got a new grandbaby.”
OMG!
After taking care of his family and its new member, Brantley ran back onstage to share the news with his waiting fans:
“We got a baby.”
Aww! This seriously sounds like a scene from a movie!
In the caption of the video, the Kick It In The Sticks singer praised his team for their help. He also showed lots of love to Amber for showing him “how incredibly strong a woman can be”:
“So last night might have been the craziest night of my life. Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget. Thank you to our road family for rallying around us, Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this little dude into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi for showing us mad love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you.”

SO sweet. In a second post, the father and his wife announced they’d had a baby boy. They also revealed his name — Abram Howell Gilbert. Amber wrote:
“We will never forget the way you got here and we can’t wait to see what you do here.”
We’ll never forget either! What a story! Imagine if he became a country singer… Born on the road…
The parents already have two sons, Braylen, 5, and Barrett, 6, making Abram the third little guy to join their fam. So we guess Amber decided the hospital was easy mode now that she’s on #3? LOLz!
Seriously, we’re just glad to hear mom and baby are doing okay after such a wild experience. HUGE congratulations to Brantley and Amber! Reactions, Perezcious readers?
