Breaking Bad Finalizes Deal To Stay On AMC

That makes one of there shows. We’ll see if the folks over at Walking Dead are happy to make the the same deal.

Sony Pictures TV finalized a deal over the weekend to keep Breaking Bad on AMC for 16 more episodes. Reportedly, the episode order maybe split into two seasons, but regardless, these episodes will conclude the series. The president of AMC issued this statement shortly after the news was announced, saying:

“From the day we heard Vince Gilligan’s completely original vision for ├óΓé¼╦£Breaking Bad,├óΓé¼Γäó it has been a complete joy to be involved with this show. Watching this story evolve into the complex, compelling, and intense roller coaster ride that it has become has been an incredible creative experience for everyone at AMC. Beyond that, working with Vince, his brilliant cast and crew, and our wonderful partners at Sony has been remarkable in every way. While it is sad to even contemplate the end of this series, we are so happy to have had the chance to go on this ride, and truly look forward to presenting the rest of this amazing story,├óΓé¼┬¥

An amazing story cut short, we think.

Let’s all get real here – this thing had at least two FULL seasons left in it. Maybe this was the only deal that could get fans an ending at all, but it still feels like people are getting short changed.

What do U think?
