We previously mentioned that an NFL player for the Baltimore Ravens was verbally attacked by a politician for supporting gay rights.
Brendon Ayanbadejo is one of the most outspoken gay rights advocates in professional sports├óΓé¼┬ª and he’s not even gay!
So he was def pumped when Maryland legalized gay marriage. Even during a recent game, some players from the Raiders went out of their way to thank him for supporting gay rights.
Brendon said:
“Three Raiders congratulated me on working with and for marriage equality. I remember their names but I will keep that to myself. Ethnicity-wise, it was two white guys and one black guy. Ethnicity plays an important part in this movement.”
Hmmm… so were those gay players thanking him for fighting for them??
We really think it’s time for a current major league professional sports star to come out!
