We think he might just mean it this time.
After being benched for the last two games, Bret Favre has announced (again) that he is retiring from football. He’s even gone so far as to file the necessary paperwork with the NFL to make it official that he’s finished playing for the Minnesota Vikings.
But will it stick? Sure, he’s a little beat up around the edges, but what about in a year when he is all healed? Is this really the last we’ll see of Bret Favre?
For his sake, we hope so.
