We have been blown away at how mature and enlightened Brian Austin Green‘s response to his split with Megan Fox has been… but is it just a brave face??
For those who somehow haven’t heard, the Transformers star was spotted meeting up with her hubby to exchange the kids, leading people to suspect they were not living together. Shortly afterward we heard she was “hooking up” with Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Richard Colson Baker, after they met on a film set.
BAG confirmed some of the story on his podcast …With Brian Austin Green earlier this week. He explained the couple had been “apart” since late last year and that she had “met this guy, Colson, on set.” However, he believed they were “just friends at this point.”

The “at this point” is pretty telling. At least he seemed prepared for the eventuality of seeing his wife writhe on a tattooed rocker 16 years younger than he is in a music video.
The Beverly Hills 90210 star came across as very understanding, saying:
“I will always love her and I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family what we have built is really cool and really special.”
He did get a bit emotional as he said:
“It sucks when life changes and something that you’re used to, that you’ve been doing for 15 years, you try and not get rid of but you change. There’s the unknown aspect… there’s that pit in my stomach… I really don’t want Megan and I to be at odds… she’s been my best friend for 15 years and I don’t want to lose that.”
But is it worse than he’s letting on??
A new source tells Us Weekly Brian “is really not in a good place” after being left. The insider says:
“[He] is devastated about the divorce.”
We can’t say we’re too surprised to hear it.
Not to mention, there is an unexpected wrinkle to this breakup…
According to the insider, Brian’s 18-year-old son Kassius is wondering how this will affect the family dynamic. Hmm??
BAG and Megan have three sons together, aged 3 to 7, but the source says Kass, whom Brian shares with ex-fiancée Vanessa Marcil, “hasn’t spent a lot of time with the family” with Megan in the picture. Wow.
The source says:
“Kass doesn’t know if he will be spending more time with the family with Megan stepping away.”
Huh. That was unexpected. We hate to say it, but maybe this could be a silver lining to this breakup?
