High school is coming back to haunt Brian Williams, and he’s going to have to leave his anchor post for a while because of it!
No, he doesn’t have to retake a test he cheated on or anything… he has to replace an entire knee, because it was damaged in a high school football game! Damn you, high school football!!
LOLz!
Still, the situation sucks for Brian because he wants to get a knee replaced and, for that, he’ll have to take a leave from work (and rapping)? Especially if you’re a workaholic and professional like ol’ B Billy (we’re pretty sure that won’t stick, ha!)!
Here’s something interesting though: because the field he’s in is so competitive for ratings, nobody is announcing when he’ll be leaving — that way other networks don’t have time to prepare spectacular things to steal their viewers!
Apparently Brian has had three surgeries on the knee already, but the pain isn’t manageable anymore. He’s losing sleep because of it, so it’s time to fix it once and for all!
He said:

That’s one way to look at it!
He could be missing anywhere between three weeks and three months of work, with a full recovery taking between six months and a year. That bums us out, because Brian is someone we really, really respect!
Though, maybe they should get Jon Stewart to fill in for him?? How awesome would that be?! Ha!
