This is exciting!
Last year, we reported that a musical version of the hit film Bridget Jones’ Diary was being adapted for the stage, with Lily Allen attached to write all-new songs for the project, and now, the singer has revealed that she’s almost done, and the finished product should be ready to debut next year!
She explains:
“I’m still writing. I’m just writing for other people. I’ve nearly finished a musical. I think it’ll be out sometime next year.”
Excellent!
We actually think that she’s the PERFECT choice musically for this project, and we’re more than a little excited to see what it ends up looking like!
Can’t wait!
