Brie Larson is the real MVP!
While presenting the Best Actor award to Casey Affleck at the Oscars Sunday, the actress very pointedly didn’t clap for the actor as he took to the stage to accept his award.

And people definitely noticed!
Casey was accused of sexual harassment and making unwanted physical advances in 2010 when both a producer and cinematographer who worked with the actor on the film I’m Still Here filed lawsuits against him. The lawsuits were ultimately settled out of court.
It’s also notable and worth mentioning that Brie portrayed a rape survivor in Room, and is an outspoken supporter of victims of sexual violence.
She notably stood and hugged every sexual assault survivor brought onstage by Lady GaGa during her performance of ‘Til It Happens To You at the 2016 Oscars.
People on Twitter noted the injustice of the actress having to give a known sexual harasser his awards.
You go, Brie! Way to uphold your beliefs while still keeping it classy!
