One horribly unpatriotic mommy disagrees. Pamela Druckerman author of Bringing up Bebe: One American Mother Discovers the Wisdom of French Parenting, claims that French parenting is more affective than that of all us low-brow cow-tipp’n state dwellers.
The main point of the book is that French parents adhere to an unspoken ├óΓé¼┼ôcode.├óΓé¼┬¥ It’s a parenting strategy she calls ├óΓé¼┼ôLa Pause,” or the time French parents take before responding to crying babies, screaming children, or the demands of tiny Napoleons.
