Since President Obama made a call to Sandra Fluke after Rush Limbaugh called her a slut, Bristol Palin’s been waiting by the phone too.
Why?? Well according to her, she deserves one too since Bill Maher has said some nasty things about her in the past.
In an open letter to the president, Bristol writes:
“You don├óΓé¼Γäót know my telephone number, but I hope your staff is busy trying to find it. Ever since you called Sandra Fluke after Rush Limbaugh called her a slut, I figured I might be next.
Your $1,000,000 donor Bill Maher has said reprehensible things about my family. He├óΓé¼Γäós made fun of my brother because of his Down├óΓé¼Γäós Syndrome. He’s said I was f├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥-d so hard a baby fell out.
I’ve always felt you understood my plight more than most because your mom was a teenager. That’s why you stood up for me when you were campaigning against Sen. McCain and my mom — you said vicious attacks on me should be off limits.
I├óΓé¼Γäóm not expecting your SuperPAC to return the money. You├óΓé¼Γäóre going to need every dime to hang on to your presidency. I├óΓé¼Γäóm not even really expecting a call. But would it be too much to expect a little consistency? After all, you├óΓé¼Γäóre President of all Americans, not just the liberals.”
OH— SNAP!
But gurl, why so hostile toward Obama?? Why not just call the comments to his attention instead of insulting him too?
Limbaugh is a radio host whose comments made national headlines during a very important debate in America’s social history.
Maher’s?? We’re not excusing his comments toward Bristol, but those comments were made throughout the course of the comedian’s career, and they definitely didn’t make headlines.
So could it be that Obama is just unaware of these comments? After all, he has been very protective of Bristol in the past. Lets not let paranoia convince us the presidency has turned him into a big, bad monster.
Maybe next time a political family wants to make a point, they should leave the mud slinging behind and maybe then we’ll be impressed!
