British Magazine Bans Models!

Bold move, but it’s what the people want!
British magazine Essentials has decided to use real women in lieu of the supermodels and celebrities we’ve all become used to.
A survey revealed that over 70 percent of their readers would rather see women like themselves over models in the magazine. The magazine’s new cover girls were chosen after the women sent in their photos and bios for potential selection.
Style director Lucy Turner says:

“We’re looking for amazing women that really reflect the magazine’s readership, so women of all shapes, ages, and sizes. It’s a real celebration of Essentials women.”
