No! She (possibly) got engaged LAST NIGHT!
Oh, nothing would make us happier than to have a Very Britney Wedding in 2012!
Sources are claiming that Jason Trawick had planned to pop the question to his the world’s beloved Britney Spears TONIGHT. The pair are in Vegas right now and Jason’s more than ready to get down on one knee to make things official. The truth is, because of Britney’s, um, situation, this is actually something that has been in the works for quite some time, which is why the rumors have been running rampant.
But while a lot of reports claim that Jason was waiting till tonight to ask Britney the big question, if we’re reading into Brit-Brit’s latest tweet correctly, the ring might already be on it! She tweeted:
“OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo”
Is anyone else jumping up and down and screaming at joyous octaves that only the angels can hear? No? Just us?
Before Jason could even think about asking Brit Brit to be his bride, he first needed to get her father’s permission, which might sound sweet and old-fashion, but it’s more like required and necessary. The next step was to bring the decision before her conservators so they can give their approval on the union. It still needs to go before a judge, but no one thinks Jason will meet an resistance there.
With all of this formalities to deal with, we’re hearing that Britney already knows Jason plans to pop the question, so it isn’t going to be too much of a surprise.
You know what else won’t be a surprise? The massive PRENUP he’s going to have to sign! Phew! We’re talking War & Peace size, kids!
But even though its been awkwardly planned and there is no spontaneity to it, we still hope his proposal is (was?) every bit as romantic as she deserves it to be. Brit Brit is the Princess of Pop; she deserves to be treated like one!
But girl, if you’ve got it, FLAUNT IT! Show us the ROCK!!!
