Remember when we gave you an set sneak peek of Britney Spears‘ video Perfume, where she was totes toting a gun!?
There were rumors of a coined “Breaking Badney” ending to the piece, where Miz Spears would apparently kill her cheating man in a lover scorned grand finale…
But as you saw in the version that premiered yesterday, there was no gun in sight!
Luckily, Brit-Brit’s director, Joseph Kahn, (who’s also worked with the artist on Toxic, Stronger, and Womanizer) shared his disappointment via Twitter in hopes of the label releasing a special cut with all the action:

Some created online petitions to have Britney’s record label release the directors cut ASAP—and they already have almost 7,000 signatures!
Fingers crossed this actually happens, because we’d love to experience this pop diva’s “game changer” acting chops!
