Brittany Maynard Says Now Isn't The 'Right Time' To End Her Life In A New Touching Video

Brittany Maynard
isn’t ready to leave this Earth just quite yet.
The inspirational, strong, and courageous Brittany recently revealed in an emotional new video that she will not be ending her life on November 1st as previously planned.
Brittany, who suffers from terminal brain cancer and has chosen to take her own life in accordance with Oregon’s Death with Dignity Act, explained:

“If Nov. 2 has come along and I’ve passed, I hope my family is still proud of me and the choices I’ve made. And if November 2 comes along and I’m still alive, I know that we’ll just still be moving forward as a family out of love for each other, and that decision will come later.”

Well, we have no doubt that Maynard’s family will be proud of whatever difficult decision she decides to make.
She added:

“I still feel good enough and I still have enough joy and I still laugh and smile with my family and friends enough that it doesn’t seem like the right time right now.”

Wow. While we’re shocked by Brittany’s change of heart, we’re also thrilled that she’s still able to still enjoy the company of family and friends.
Though Maynard’s new vid is very sad to watch, we continue to be inspired by this thoughtful and brave young woman.
All we can say is, we hope Brittany finds as much happiness as possible in her final days no matter how limited they may be.
Good luck, Brittany.
