Brody Jenner may technically be related to the billionaire KarJenner family through Caitlyn Jenner, but that doesn’t mean he’s making that Kardashian money! He says he works hard for his money!
In a new interview with Bustle on Tuesday, the Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test star opened up about an assumption that has annoyed him for years — he’s nothing but a trust-fund kid who has never had work a day in his life. When in reality? The television personality says he had to work hard to get anything.

He says he’s never even received a single cent from the KarJenners or their reality show empire, nor did Caitlyn even pay child support to his and Brandon Jenner’s mom, Linda Thompson! He told the outlet:
“It’s funny that people think that, because, first off, my dad never gave any child support. It wasn’t like we were getting any money from the Kardashians ever. Kendall and Kylie are my sisters. We have the same last name, but we don’t share a bank account. I don’t get to go on the pink jet, though I would love to.”
Given Brody’s current relationship with the KarJenners, it doesn’t sound like he will get randomly invited to go on Kylie’s plane soon! Everyone is just waaay too “busy” right now!
As for that child support issue? A representative for Caitlyn explained to Bustle that Linda turned down child support and alimony during the divorce to receive an upfront payment of 100 percent of the marital assets instead, which came to millions of dollars. Brody may not have obtained any Kardashian money, but it wasn’t like his family had none of his own! Not to mention his famous name, which has obviously given him a lot of capital — heck, he was given his own reality show just because of who his family was. Anyone remember The Princes Of Malibu? That led to The Hills, and the rest is history. So yeah, he hasn’t exactly needed the Kardashians’ help.
That’s not to say he doesn’t work at all! These days, Brody is focused on one of the most important jobs: raising his 1-year-old daughter, Honey Raye Jenner, with his fiancé Tia Blanco. He continued:
“My life just revolves around my daughter. I think you can work yourself to death. But now that I’ve had a daughter, I want to make more time to be there for her, especially at this time in her life.”
According to Bustle, he spends the summer on the road as a DJ and works on his tequila seltzer brand, Mamitas. But once winter hits, he’s back in Hawaii with his family, filming surfing videos for Tia and making music:
“I work really hard for, you know, seven, eight months or whatever, and then take two months off where you have no distraction.”
Wow. Work seven or eight months, much of which is DJing and filming surfing videos, and then take two months off??
Sorry, Brody. But that isn’t exactly the pull-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps narrative you seem to think it is. Pink jet or no, that’s a life of leisure to most people.
