“A major turning point”…
That’s how Brooke Hogan is describing the time her father, Hulk Hogan, slept with one of her best friends. It happened in the 2000s when Hulk was still married to Brooke’s mom Linda, though Hulk and Linda had privately known their marriage was over at that point.
Now, in a new interview 14 months after his death, the 38-year-old singer sat down with UsWeekly for a candid deep dive into the betrayal that forever fractured their connection.

She admits that although she forgave him, “something between” them had forever changed:
“I don’t think he ever related to me in quite the same way again.”
But even though she experienced that personal setback in her relationship with her father, she wants to make it clear that doesn’t void all the good times they had before:
“I can love my father profoundly and still tell the truth about where he hurt me. I can acknowledge the wonderful things my family gave me while also acknowledging that eventually the dynamic became something I could no longer live inside. Both things can be true.”
Absolutely.
Ultimately, when she looks back on her time with her father, she’s grateful for the strong bond they did have “underneath all of it,” and especially the great times when she was younger:
“As a little girl, I felt incredibly safe with my dad. I adored him. I have wonderful memories with him.”
Brooke is in a place where she knows she can honor her own boundaries while still appreciating the big picture of their connection. And that’s the best anyone can do.
Hulk passed away from a heart attack in July 2025.
