Brooke Mueller already tried once to move her sons from the care of Denise Richards and into her brother’s home.
And since then, Brooke’s case has only gotten worse! The news has come out that this rehab stint is her 20th, and Charlie Sheen argued that she only wanted custody of Bob and Max for the child support money!
With all that in mind, it comes as no surprise that Brooke’s most recent request to strip Denise of custody has also failed. A source inside the courtroom said:
“[The court] flatly denied Mueller├óΓé¼Γäós request to to have Denise stripped of temporary custody, and placed in the care of her brother in Orange County. There was absolutely no reason that could justify the move, which would only uproot the twins yet again.”
What reason was Brooke trying to argue? Money. Not hers this time- Brooke turned it around, saying that Denise was just taking in the kids for the child support. But that wasn’t going to fly with Denise. The source says:
“Brooke├óΓé¼Γäós claims that Denise was only taking care of the boys for financial gain fell flat because the actress signed a sworn declaration that she had refused money from Charlie. Denise├óΓé¼Γäós declaration also went on to say that she didn├óΓé¼Γäót want any money EVER for her care of the boys.”
Wow! We knew Denise didn’t NEED Charlie’s money, but that’s impressive. It’s so nice to see someone doing something because they think it’s right and not for personal gain!
We definitely think the judge made the right decision.
