Brooklyn Woman Arrested For Starving Chihuahua

We can’t imagine what would possess someone to do this?
A chihuahua named Vampiro was found abandoned in a pet store in Brooklyn.
When ASPCA Humane Law Enforcement Agents arrived, they found a six-year-old dog who looked barely alive.
Someone was obviously starving the poor thing!
Venus Laventure was determined to be the original owner of Vampiro, and was subsequently arrested and charged with one count of misdemeanor animal cruelty.
That’ll teach her hopefully not to take on the responsibility of a pet and then not follow through.
The puppy Vampiro is doing VERY well and is almost ready for adoption.
Vampiro’s caretakers say he loves to give doggy kisses, so his future owner better be prepared to be showered with love!
