You do NOT shut down The Boss, regardless of some silly noise curfew!
British concert organizers at Hyde Park became a little drunk on their own power recently when they decided to CUT OFF power during an epic Bruce Springsteen & Paul McCartney duet of Twist & Shout because of noise restrictions!
SO, in a humorous retaliation, Brucey brought a giant prop electrical switch on stage at his Dublin concert and flipped it while saying:
“Before we were so rudely interrupted…”
The man who was Born to Run then preceded to FINISH Twist and Shout!
Bruce reportedly referenced the silencing incident numerous times throughout the Dublin show, even holding up sign that read:
“Only the Boss says when to pull the plug.”
At the end of the show, the man who puts “I can” in “American” had a fake British police officer come out to pretend-attempt arrest him for being excessively loud!
And that is why he is, and will forever be, THE BOSS!
