Bryan Singer Facing New Accusations Of Sexual Misconduct Involving Underage Boys

Bryan Singer

Director Bryan Singer is facing another new round of sexual misconduct allegations following a report published Wednesday in The Atlantic, with four previously unidentified accusers coming forward with their claims.
Singer, who was fired from Bohemian Rhapsody last year in the middle of production amid considerable controversy, was named by those four men to newly accuse him of various degrees of sexual misconduct and rape.

One young man — only going by Eric — in the report claims he and Singer had sex during a 1997 party at the filmmaker’s house when he was 17 years old, and later continued a relationship with him for about five years. Another accuser — going by Andy — alleges that Singer had sex with him, also in 1997, in a Beverly Hills mansion when Andy was just 15 years old.
Both claim that Singer was in his mid-30s at the time, and allegedly “knew they were under the age of consent in California.”
Singer’s attorney did not immediately respond with comment for the story itself, but he later told the publication that Singer “vehemently denies that he ever had sex with underage men,” while noting Singer has “never been arrested for any crime.”

Victor Valdovinos also came forward to The Atlantic, alleging that the director molested him on the set of Apt Pupil in 1997. Valdovinos, who says he was 13 at the time the film was shooting at his school in Altadena, California, claims Singer asked him to be a part of the movie after approaching him in the bathroom.
The alleged victim goes on to claim he was ordered to strip and wear a towel for the scene he joined, and per his account, Singer “grabbed my genitals and started masturbating it.” He alleges the director also “rubbed his front part on me.”

“He did it all with this smile.”

Valdovinos recounted Singer allegedly saying to him:

“You’re so good-looking … I really want to work with you … I have a nice Ferrari … I’m going to take care of you.”

And the then-teen continued to claim:

“I was frozen. Speechless. He came back to where I was in the locker room throughout the day to molest me.”

Singer denies ever meeting the boy.
Another accuser — going by Ben — asserted in his accusation that at a party at Singer’s home in the late ’90s, the director was “seducing” him into oral sex. Ben says he was either 17 or 18 at the time.
Ben continued, describing Bryan:

“He would stick his hands down your pants without your consent. He was predatory in that he would ply people with alcohol and drugs and then have sex with them.”
