Build-A-Bear Workshop's 'Pay Your Age' Event Turns Into A Total Fiasco -- See All The Twitter Reactions!

The horrible consumer stampede that is Black Friday comes only once a year, so at the Build-A-Bear Workshop they made their own!
July 12 was the first ever “Pay Your Age Day” — which is exactly what it sounds like, as young children could get their newest plush friend at an EXTREMELY low price.

It’s probably also going to be the last!
Lines got so out-of-control, many stores were causing a genuine fire safety hazard! So the stuffed animal store had no choice but to shut down lines for the event, turning away hundreds more customers.
They tweeted:

@buildabear PAY YOUR AGE’ turned out to be a joke.. turned up to what was a queue to the end of the shopping centre door (2hr wait apparently).
