Bullet Fragment Found In Charlie Kirk Autopsy DOES Match Caliber Of Gun Found At Scene Despite Suspect's Allegations

Bullet Found In Charlie Kirk Autopsy DOES Match Gun Found At Scene Despite Suspect's Allegations It Doesn't

Tyler Robinson‘s allegations have been quickly proven wrong ahead of the judge.

As you know, the 22-year-old Utah native is the primary suspect in the case following Charlie Kirk‘s merciless murder. Over six months ago the Turning Point USA podcaster was fatally shot on a Utah campus, and following that Tyler was named a primary suspect.

Out of all the evidence police compiled, what really shocked the world late last month was when the suspect’s defense team claimed the bullet fragments found in Charlie’s autopsy didn’t match the gun connected to Tyler. His attorney revealed the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives conducted an analysis revealing the bullet recovered in the autopsy does NOT conclusively match the rifle:

“[The ATF was] unable to identify the bullet recovered at autopsy to the rifle allegedly tied to Mr. Robinson. Although the State has not indicated an intent to produce this report at the preliminary hearing, the defense may very well decide to offer the testimony of the ATF firearm analyst as exculpatory evidence.”

But now, on Wednesday, a judge dug deeper into the ATF’s report and uncovered more information. Per DailyMail.com, the filings revealed the bullet fragment recovered in the autopsy DOES correspond with the rifle connected to Tyler:

“The ATF lab described the item as a ‘.30-caliber class deformed/damaged bullet jacket fragment’.”

This fragment matched the Mauser 98 30-06 rifle that was found at the scene and is allegedly the rifle used to kill Charlie. This gun was said by the filings to be gifted to Tyler by his grandfather. Furthermore, the report revealed the gun HAD been fired, and the “Remington headstamp” on the cartridge case that police recovered confirmed the caliber.

Where the inconclusive evidence comes in is the bullet fragments found in the autopsy being super damaged. The report says they’ve not been “conclusively linked or excluded” to the rifle — but only because it was too damaged to come to a conclusion on. And while the bullet fragments haven’t been directly linked to this specific gun, the point is they DO match in caliber. So this argument likely won’t help his case at all!

If convicted, Tyler faces capital punishment for the murder. Reactions?
