This is horrific. One of the Brazilian instructors who has been accused of throwing a student to her death without a safety rope during a bungee jumping excursion allegedly made an ill-conceived, prophetic joke years prior!
According to local outlet O Globo, 32-year-old Luis Felipe Feliciano Egoroff shared a video on Instagram in September 2022 in which two men threw a black bag, which looked to contain a body, off a bridge. It was captioned something like, “Hiding the body” or “Disposing of a body,” per various translations.

One of the suspects charged with homicide after throwing a woman off a bridge previously joked about throwing a body off the same bridge in Brazil.

As Perezcious readers know, 21-year-old Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas was killed after she was hurled off a bridge without safety equipment last weekend. Three people have been arrested after two of the instructors allegedly tried to flee the scene following the tragedy. According to local authorities, the three men have been charged with homicide with eventual intent. Three other employees were arrested but released without charges.
We hope justice will be served for Maria and her family.
