What a way to end the year!
Cameron Dallas was arrested this past weekend in Aspen, Colorado after cops say he apparently punched another man, breaking his nose and causing “bodily injury” during some type of unknown incident.

The 24-year-old social media star was not only arrested, but eventually charged with felony second-degree assault, though he was quickly released from the Pitkin County Jail on a $5,000 bond, according to media reports.
And while there are few details to go on over what caused the punch in the first place, Dallas himself seems to be relatively good-natured about the whole thing — considering he published his own mugshot on Instagram and discussed the incident in cryptic terms (below):

And along with the pic, Dallas wrote (below):
“Unfortunately sometimes in life you find yourself in a situation where you have to protect yourself and the people you care about, have a safe and happy new year, 2019 is going to be an amazing one.”
Wonder what that means!!!
Guess we’ll know soon enough (or maybe not), but whatever the case, this is one way to ring in the New Year!
