Cameron Diaz Praises Pubes & Details Her Horrible Acne Struggles! Read On If You DARE!!

Read about Cameron Diaz's thoughts on pubic hair and acne HERE!
We would totallyyyy understand if you didn’t want to hear about Cameron Diaz’s pubic hair and acne.
Really, we would.
However, since her new health guide The Body Book addresses those topics, we want to tell you alllll about it!! LOLz!
First, let’s talk about bush.
Miz Diaz dedicates an entire section of her book to the topic, and titles it In Praise of Pubes. Yep, that Cameron lurrrvvees a 70’s bush probably as much as Gwyneth Paltrow does!!
Here’s what the actress wants y’all to know about vagina curtains:

“I hear that there’s a big fad these days of young women undergoing laser hair removal on all of their lady bits… Personally, I think permanent laser hair removal sounds like a crazy idea. Forever? I know you may think you’ll be wearing the same style of shoes forever and the same style of jeans forever, but you won’t. The idea that vaginas are preferable in a hairless state is a pretty recent phenomenon, and all fads change, people. Pubic hair also serves as a pretty draping that makes it a little mysterious to the one who might be courting your sexiness. Pubes keep the goods private, which can entice a lover to come and take a closer look at what you have to offer. Also, let’s be honest: just like every other part of your body, your labia major is not immune to gravity. Do you really want a hairless vagina for the rest of your life? It’s a personal decision, but I’m just putting it out there: Consider leaving your vagina fully dressed, ladies. Twenty years from now, you will still want to be presenting it to someone special, and it would be nice to let him or her unwrap it like the gift that it is.”

Wow, OK!!
You tell ‘em, gurl!!
And for all our Perezcious readers, just remember: if you’ve already committed yourself to laser hair removal in your nether regions, there will always be merkins! (pubic wigs)
On the less graphic side, Cameron Diaz also learned some unexpected lessons through her struggle with acne.
She writes:

“I mean, I had terrible, terrible, skin. It was embarrassing, and I did everything I could think of to make it go away. I tried to cover it with makeup. I tried to get rid of it with medication: oral, topical, even the harshest prescriptions. Nothing helped for very long. It was really challenging to cover them up for the cameras. It was awkward and embarrassing and frustrating, and I always felt really bad about myself.”

Oh noes!!
But then in her late 20s, Cameron decided to ditch her “cheeseburger with french fries every day” diet and start to really take care of her body. She noticed that’s when her acne started to clear as well!!
She wrote the following about her skin-care epiphany:

“A funny thing happened … my skin began to clear up! My acne wasn’t totally gone, but it was significantly better. Looking back, I realize that I hadn’t needed those prescription drugs, those vials of potions and creams. I hadn’t needed to be angry at my skin or feel bad about myself. I had just needed to LISTEN TO MY BODY. … acne was my body’s alarm system, it was its way of telling me [to stop eating fast food].”

Words of wisdom!!
If you want to look and feel your best, it’s important to feed your body the proper nutrition without all the junk found in many fast foods!
Really, truly great advice. For anyone who wants to know what else Diaz has to say about the body, her book is available now!!
