We had high hopes for Cameron Diaz‘s Saturday Night Live hosting duties, but sadly it seemed a bit off.
Starting with her monologue, the actress struggled for chuckles, and most of them came thanks to the SNL cast’s lines (below).

But since she was there to promote her new flick Annie, there was of course film-related skit, which was pretty funny (above)!
Everyone has an off night, and since Miz Diaz is still making silver screen hits, we know she’s doing something right! If only she’d been able to do it in more of the sketches.
