Can YOU Sing??? These Folks Can!

It took us a long time for Perez to sit through and watch every single submission, but we did it and want to thank each person that entered our “Can You Sing?” cover competition for Katy Perry‘s The One That Got Away!
There is sooo much talent out there! And we love finding new artists and giving them a broader platform!
The winner for this contest is a star!!!! We don’t know her name, but she’s a star! (Update: Her name is Meg Sullivan!)
Her YouTube channel name is MSully625 and we are captivated by her rendition of The One That Got Away! It is as beautiful as she is! A complete re-imagining of the song! Her voice, the arrangement, the video itself, her movie-star looks – everything about it is a win!
Check out MSully625‘s cover (above)!
Congratulations are also in order to The Spandettes, who came in 2nd place! Their Wilson Phillips-reminiscent rendition of Katy’s song is majorly awesome! Such exquisite three part harmonies!
