The dog holding the title for worlds oldest living dog died last week in Italy at 23 years old, but Evan Nelson from Canada is claiming his dog Misty deserves the title at 25 years old!
Nelson says he adopted the dog when she was 7 years old (according to a veterinarian examination) and has lived with him for the past 18 years, making her about 25!
Unfortunately, Misty has been diagnosed with liver cancer, so Nelson is making his moves to get her in the Guinness Book Of World Records, but will have to find a way to prove her age since he has no record of her before he adopted her.
What a CUTE dog though! We want Misty to live FOREVER!
