14-Year-Old Boy Begs Porch Pirate To Return His Stolen Cancer Medication

A Nevada family is begging a thief to return the extremely valuable package he swiped from their porch.
Gage Haynes’ (above, insert) health is at serious risk after a porch pirate stole a package that contained the 14-year-old’s Rydapt pills — medication he was taking to help fight his Systemic Mastocytosis, a rare form of cancer he was diagnosed with at six years old.
The teen told CBS News he took eight pills a day as a form of chemotherapy, which made him feel good enough to go to school and have a normal life. Now without his Rydapt, however, Gage’s cancer fight has gotten worse.

Since Gage’s medication isn’t cheap — his mother Sylvia scraped to pay $40,000 a month for it, because Rydapt is not FDA approved for anyone under the age of 18 —  the family issued a plea for the unidentified thief to return the medication.
We hope the burglar does the right thing. Watch the video (below) for more on Gage’s sad story.
