Cardi B says she’s gotta do what she’s gotta do!
As we reported, three members of the 25-year-old rapper’s security team allegedly attacked a persistent autograph seeker after the Met Gala in New York on Monday night.
In a now-deleted tweet after the incident, the Bodak Yellow artist took to Twitter to break her silence on what went down.

She wrote a message not denying what happened, but saying she needs to protect herself especially now that she’s pregnant:
“If you check my tag pics i take a lot of pics with fans .Some people are not fans &sometimes i don’t want no pics and i simply don’t want people too close cause of [my pregnancy]. i don’t know what are people’s intentions sooo i Be careful .Why can’t people respect that?”
Safety is definitely a concern — but we can see how this tweet would be incriminating if there’s an investigation going on. We’ll keep you posted.
