Who knew Cardi B was a low key Even Stevens stan this whole time?
This week, the rapper shared a video of herself singing a song from the 2002 musical episode of the Disney Channel show, reminding us about the time Ren Stevens educated her class on the year we went to the moon. (It wasn’t 1970, but a year sooner.)
In the episode titled Influenza: The Musical, Ren (Christy Carlson Romano) goes to school with the flu in order to keep her perfect attendance record and is forced to improvise a science presentation she completely forgot about.

The result was We Went To The Moon In 1969, probably the catchiest song of the episode — so catchy, people are still singing it to this day, apparently. In a clip shared on social media, Cardi asked her fans if anyone remembered the song before she sang some of the lyrics.
Ren sure remembered. After watching it, Carlson Romano shared Cardi’s video on her social pages, tweeting:
