Cardi B Postpones Concert Due To Plastic Surgery Complications!

Cardi B cancels concert over plastic surgery complications

Cardi B needs to take time off from her latest commitments to deal with more pressing matters.
The Grammy winner was set to headline the 92Q Spring Bling Festival in Baltimore, Maryland this Friday night, but sadly had to cancel the gig due to complications from her recent cosmetic surgeries.
According to TMZ, the Money rapper will instead spend Memorial Day Weekend recovering from her liposuction and breast augmentation. The performer has reportedly been suffering some painful complications from these procedures, and is said to be in such bad condition that she can’t even perform. Oh no!

The decision to postpone the concert was encouraged by Cardi’s doctors, who reportedly told the 26-year-old that she needs time to let the swelling go down and for her body to make a full recovery. These medical professionals have advised the performer to take a couple weeks off from putting her body through the stress of grinding, twerking, and any other intense movements it would undoubtedly endure during a show.
The news comes a week after the mother-of-one revealed that she had gone under the knife after giving birth to baby Kulture — a confession she made while performing on stage at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, Tennessee.
Telling the crowd how the lipo wouldn’t stop her from shaking her money maker, she said:

“I have some news for y’all. I should have canceled today. I shouldn’t really be performing because moving too much is gonna f**k up my lipo. But bitch I’m still gonna get my motherf******g money back, let’s go!”

Cardi went on to give a stellar performance that night.
Days later, the artist explained why she felt it was so important to address the tough recovery process with her fans. Speaking to ET at the launch party for her new Fashion Nova line, Cardi spilled:

“I want to explain to people how hard it is to process. I feel like people look at girls on Instagram and go, ‘Oh, they got their lipo done and it was so easy.’ It is just such a long, hard process, almost like the same process as after you give birth to a baby and you see your body change and snapping it back.”

Sounds like the recovery process was even longer and harder than she was expecting.
Cardi’s team told TMZ that the star is “very disappointed” she was forced to postpone Friday’s show, adding:

“[She] hates to let her fans down, but she wants to reassure them that she’ll see them in September!”

Event organizers have announced the show will be rescheduled for September 8.
In the meantime, we hope the rapper enjoys her time off. Let that new bod settle in, gurl!
