Oh, you thought Cardi B was going to take a day off?
As you know, the 25-year-old rapper released her debut album on Friday, announced her pregnancy on Saturday Night Live on Saturday, and co-hosted The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night — and on Tuesday morning, she was in the studio for an interview with The Breakfast Club!
We’re tired just thinking about it.

Anyway, during her sit down with Power 105.1, Charlamagne Tha God asked Cardi whether she ever thought about “not having the baby,” to which she responded:
“Kinda, sorta. But, I just didn’t want to deal with the whole abortion thing. I just didn’t want to ├óΓé¼┬ª I’m a grown woman, I’m 25 years old, I’m gonna say this in the most humblest way: I’m a schmillionaire. I’m prepared for this.”
She also mentioned that the pregnancy was not planned, and she wants to keep this moment as private as possible. With that said, it was a “relief” not to have to hide her bump anymore.
What frustrates Cardi the most is when people question her ability to do it all:
“It just really bothers me and it disgusts me, because I see a lot of women online like, ├óΓé¼╦£Oh, I feel sorry for you, your career is over,’ and it’s like, ├óΓé¼╦£Why can’t I have both? Why do I have to choose a career or a baby?'”
Adding:
“I don’t want to wait until I’m 30-something to have a kid. I want my kid now that I have energy and stuff.”
One thing is for sure, nothing (not even her new high-profile life) will stop her from achieving her dreams:
“I have to prove [to] people that a baby won’t stop me ├óΓé¼┬ª I just wish that I had a little bit more time for me to think for me. I didn’t like that people [were] harassing me, I had a whole bunch of friends calling me like, ├óΓé¼╦£Why did I have to find out [about your pregnancy] on the internet?’ ├óΓé¼┬ª It’s something so precious and private to me, and I didn’t even get to keep that for myself.”
