Carey Mulligan finally made her return to the red carpet at the Drama Desk Awards in New York City!
And well, she definitely made an entrance in her boxy black dress!
It’s not unusual the actress would choose such a dark colored frock, but the fit is a bit confusing, especially with the tan Christian Louboutin pumps.

Could Carey be covering up for a reason?? Possibly because of some good news for her and husband, Marcus Mumford?
That or she just wanted to let loose in a flowy frock! But either way, we think she could have gone a better route.
