As we previously reported, La La Anthony and Carmelo Anthony have called it quits on their marriage almost seven years after saying “I do” in light of rumors the NBA player cheated/maybe knocked up a stripper. Tsk tsk.
It’s no secret the 32-year-old’s net worth is significantly more than the TV host’s, thanks to his $124 million contract with the New York Knicks and his pricey endorsements with brands like Jordan and Foot Locker. TMZ reports he’s made upwards of $200 million during his career.

As for the 37-year-old, she’s definitely contributed financially to the family’s income through her success as an actress and model, but it’s still not on the same level by far.
Unless there’s a “cheating clause” in the former pair’s prenuptial agreement, Melo is set up to benefit greatly from the 2010 agreement due to his significant paycheck.
When and if the longtime couple decides to file for divorce, we imagine La La will challenge the details of the prenup, especially if it’s confirmed the baller strayed from the relationship.
It’s important to also note the exes share 10-year-old son Kiyan, which we’re sure will come into play while splitting pennies.
