The townhouse is not ALL that it seems, though…it├óΓé¼Γäós located at 64 Perry Street in Manhattan├óΓé¼Γäós West Village, NOT the Upper East Side as was portrayed on the show.
It was also only used for exterior shots for the first three seasons and then the show switched to shooting at 66 Perry Street instead!
Both spots are heavily visited by tourists and SATC fans alike, which may be the reason why the previous owner moved out after 4 months!! The address is even BLURRED out on Google Maps! Cray cray!
