Carrie Underwood announced earlier this month that she and her hockey playing hubby Mike Fisher are expecting a baby!
It’ll be their first child and the whole thing just seems so surreal to Carrie.
She said:
“It’s still kind of weird, to be honest. Sometimes I’ll be with my husband, and it’s like, ‘I’m gonna be a mom. You’re gonna be a dad. Is this real life?’ But we’re really excited.”
For being totally new to the whole gonna-have-a-baby thing, she seems confident enough.

As long as she’s like her momma at least! She said:
“I have a wonderful mother. If I can be even a little bit like that, I think we’ll be good.”
If Carrie’s kid turns out anything like Carrie… yeah, we’d call that a parenting success.
