Carrie Underwood has been crying pretty tears of joy since giving birth to her miracle baby!
As we reported, the 35-year-old singer and husband Mike Fisher announced on Wednesday that they had welcomed Jacob Bryan Fisher into the world on Monday. Naturally, the parents, who also share three-year-old son Isaiah Michael, are filled with bliss — especially since their second child comes after years of fertility struggles.

A source told People that the two are “just so beyond overjoyed with their healthy baby,” adding:
“It has been a rough few years with the miscarriages and the accident and they didn’t even know if they’d get to this point. They’re feeling truly blessed.”
As they should be! Back in September, Underwood revealed she suffered three miscarriages from 2017 to 2018.
The American Idol alum touched on their challenging, years-long journey in her post announcing little Jacob’s birth, writing:
“We didn’t know if Izzy would ever have another sibling but we learned through it all that God is in control and his timing is perfect.”
Jesus took the wheel yet again!
