If anyone woke up flawless this morning, our best guess is that it’s Carrie Underwood!
The country cutie recently admitted in an interview that she rarely goes without makeup. Like ever!
Okay, well, she probably takes it off at night, but the point stays the same! Carrie admitted:
“I don’t think I ever have makeup-free days, to be honest. I wear makeup for me. I don’t want to walk by a mirror and feel like I haven’t given some sort of effort. I just feel better when I have a little on.”
Though it may sound high-maintenance, she actually does it all herself! That smokey shadow? Peach pout? All her!

But she revealed there’s a good reason for it:
“When I am on tour, I enjoy doing my own hair and makeup. There are just so many people on the road, and it’s kind of therapeutic for me to be able to sit on my butt and have all my things, and it’s quiet. It’s my time to play.”
And with a baby on the way, she’s probably relishing the time all to herself!! Besides, if it hadn’t been for her serious skillz, she might not have landed her campaign with Almay cosmetics! Of course, it didn’t just come to her. She dished:
“I was probably actually one of the kids that started wearing makeup a little bit younger. If I had a daughter I might have her hold off for a little while longer, but it gave me more time to learn.”
Sounds like they could do some mommy-daughter beauty bonding! But it’ll probably have to wait since she and hubby Mike Fisher are expecting a little baby boy!
