Despite the wholesome marketing, HGTV has faced its fair share of scandals.
Take the Carter Oosterhouse sexual misconduct controversy, for example. At the start of December, former makeup artist Kailey Kaminsky accused the famed carpenter of forcing her to perform oral sex during their time working together on the 2008 show Carter Can.
Oosterhouse responded to the allegations by confirming that they did have “an intimate relationship,” but noted that it was “100 percent mutual.” Hmmmm.
