Rapper Casanova is a wanted man in the eyes of the NYPD after he was allegedly involved in an attack on a woman in a diner late last week in NYC.

According to the woman who was apparently attacked, Niya Rucker, things started when she was using her phone to take a video of her meal at the Good Stuff Diner around 4:40 a.m. in the city.
The rapper apparently believed Rucker was filming him with the phone, and he became enraged — trying to stop her from taking video and rushing towards her where things quickly became violent.
Casanova and another person then allegedly assaulted Rucker, according to an arrest warrant issued last night by the NYPD, leading to multiple facial lacerations and a possible fracture of the woman’s jaw. Then, according to cops, Casanova and his accomplice fled the scene.
For Rucker’s part, she says that she’ll be able to positively identify Casanova in the event based on his jewelry.

TMZ reached out to Casanova and didn’t get comment back; we’ll continue to update you as this unfortunate alleged incident winds through the legal system. For now, though, there’s a warrant out for his arrest and the NYPD is looking for the rapper.
