We’re just glad someone spotted him!
Three days after a judge vocally expressed his concern on the whereabouts of Casey Kasem, the former popular radio host was located in the state of WASHINGTON.
And although his family has NOT been reunited with him yet – his kids especially are happy that they hopefully will be able to return their dad to the Los Angeles area.
It was the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Department who literally found Kasem only HOURS after his family filed an original missing persons report.
Here’s what Casey’s daughter said in a written statement:
“We are grateful to the local authorities for finding my dad. We are one step closer to bringing him home.”
The search for Casey Kasem first started after the former radio host’s wife’s attorney told the court that Mr. Kasem was no longer in the United States, but he was not sure exactly where he was. Immediately Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Daniel S. Murphy ordered “adult protective services” and “court investigators” to try and located Mr. Kasem.
And obviously their efforts paid off! Pretty darn quickly, too!
Hopefully his children will be able to spend time with their ailing father, and also hopefully they’ll find out from the wife WHY Mr. Kasem was missing in the first place!
Sounds pretty bizarre to us!
