They want to see their dad! And they’ll do anything they have to do to get what they want!
Legendary radio host Casey Kasem‘s adult children Kerri, Julie and Mike have filed for conservatorship this past Monday in order to gain control of their father from their stepmom Jean (pictured above)!
The adult children have claimed that they have not been allowed to see their father for several months, and recently staged a protest in front of their stepmom’s house!
The children are only filing for conservatorship and NOT their father’s estate — something which they’ve repeatedly said they have no interest in.
Here’s what daughter Kerri (pictured above) said:
“It’s been really difficult, but I am hoping [Jean] comes out and says, you know, ‘I’m sorry. Of course you can see your dad’. But we’ve heard nothing from her. Nothing. So our next step is legal action.”
The kids have filed for Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare and a Healthcare Conservatorship in the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Casey Kasem is suffering from advanced Parkinson’s, and is not able to speak or voice his wishes concerning his children.
Hopefully this can be resolved before this goes to court which will most certainly muddle an already very muddled situation!!
