How sad!
On Friday, Kathie Lee Gifford recalled the moment she told Cassidy Gifford about Frank Gifford‘s unexpected death at age 84.
According to Gifford, Frank was given a clean bill of health from his doctor’s just days before his death on August 9! We can’t imagine how Cass must have dealth with this shock!

On an episode of the Today Show, the mother of two painfully revealed how she informed Cassidy. According to the co-host, the aspiring actress was en route to shoot a movie with Chad Michael Murray in New Mexico, Angels and Outlaws. K.L.G. remembered:
“The hardest part of the day other than finding Frank was that we couldn’t get in touch with Cass because she was in the air.”
