Cassie has given birth to her first child!

According to TMZ, the Me & U singer and her husband Alex Fine welcomed their baby girl to the world on Friday at an El Lay County hospital, and they’ve named her Frankie Fine!

Sources close to the situation told the outlet little Frankie came in weighing 8 lbs., 4 oz and measured a bit over 21 inches long.

The birth of their first child is the latest milestone in the couple’s whirlwind relationship. As you may remember, the songstress and competitive bull rider announced they were expecting back in June, less than a year after she broke up with her longtime boyfriend, Diddy. The now-parents got engaged in August, then tied the knot in Malibu a month later.

Lest we forget, there was a bit of drama when the two went public with their relationship, as Alex was Cassie’s former trainer — a trainer the Bad Boy Records mogul paid for, apparently. While there may have been some animosity between the two at the time, Diddy and Cassie let bygones be bygones last year following the tragic death of his ex-girlfriend, Kim Porter.

Days after news of Kim’s death broke in November 2018, Cass paid tribute to her ex’s ex on Instagram with a black and white photo of Porter. She wrote in the caption:

“There are no words…. An amazing mother to her beautiful family, lit up every room she entered and now the most beautiful angel. Sending so much love and my condolences to the Porter and Combs family. I love you @quincy, @kingcombs, Jessie, D’Lila, Chance, @princejdc and @diddy.””

Diddy, for his part, wished the 33-year-old and her new man nothing but love and happiness after they revealed their pregnancy news. At the time, an insider told E! News:

“Diddy wants happiness for Cassie and her new chapter. He wants to be neutral with her, and she will always have a place in his heart.”

Of course, no one is happier about the birth than Mr. Fine.

Back in June, Alex wrote a very affectionate letter to his future daughter promising to show her “the greatest love and affection now and forever,” sharing:

“Letter to my Daughter… I will be the first man in your life and will show you the greatest love and affection now and forever. I never thought my heart could grow bigger after meeting your mother… then I found out we were having you and I instantly felt a love that is so indescribable. I promise to be at every dance recital, concert, sporting event, school plays whatever you decide to do I will be there and support you. I am your number one fan…I promise to be a man that you and your mother look up to and love. I will always listen and put the both of you first. I will show you a healthy relationship and how you deserve to be treated. I promise to never approve of any boy you like because they will never be good enough for my baby girl… Sorry I can’t promise that I won’t embarrass you because I will give you so many kisses at every school drop off. I will be the Dad that never forces my opinions on you. I will love whatever you do in life as long as you’re happy. I promise that I will be kind, sweet, and you will always be daddy’s little girl. I promise to love you every single second unconditionally until my last breath. You’re perfect to me and always will be.”
